Hillcrest Elementary was honored to have a teacher like Connie Christoph as an art teacher for many years. The art room was dedicated in her memory. Thank you, Mrs. Christoph, for the wonderful times learning to be creative!

The LWCS system is hosting a Lake Wales City Commissioner/Mayor Candidates Forum for our staff and parents on Monday, March 28  from 6-8 pm at the LWHS auditorium.  The issues we will address with these candidates are: what they feel needs to be improved with education and how they see the City partnering with us to make these improvements;  how they see their role in the community; what are their plans to improve unemployment for the citizens of Lake Wales and what the plans are to provide summer opportunities for children so they have a safe and productive summer.

We feel that this is a perfect opportunity to address your concerns to the candidates and be an informed voter.
