Dress Code

2011-2012

Bottoms:

• Khaki  or traditional blue jean denim fabric ( Monday-Friday)
• Shorts, pants, skirts, or skirted jumpers ( Monday-Friday)

Tops:

• Hunter green polo shirts long and short sleeved (Monday-Thursday)
• Hunter green Hillcrest T-shirts (Monday-Thursday)
• Any color Hillcrest T-shirts or Hillcrest school club shirt ( Friday’s only)

Cold Weather Days:

• Long sleeved hunter green polo shirts
• Long sleeved hunter green or white turtlenecks can be worn underneath polo or t-shirt
• Jackets, sweaters, hunter green sweat shirts, or any colored Hillcrest sweat shirt
• Hat and hoods can be worn on cold days but not in the classrooms

Other Dress Code Rules:

• All shirts must be tucked in.
• If student has belt loops- a belt must be worn.
• Shorts/skirts must be fingertip length
• Shoes must be safe, appropriate, and have enclosed heels or a heel strap (flip flops, slides, and sandals without feel straps may not be worn).
• Clothes must be of appropriate size, with waist of garment worn at the students’ waist (no excessively baggy pants, etc.).
• A small logo is acceptable & it must be no larger than a half dollar.
• Students may wear a uniform of a nationally recognized youth organization on meeting days.
• School administrators will determine if clothing is appropriate for school and complies with our district rules.
